Ben Ingalls is a first year Aerospace engineering Ph.D. student and is currently a research assistant at the LASR Lab. He graduated with his aerospace engineering bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M in Dec of 2022. He has interned at the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) in the summers of 2022 and 2023 working in robotic design, dynamics, and controls. He is continuing this topic of research at LASR studying dynamics of mechanical systems aimed at structural automation. In addition to this, he will be continuing research into tensegrity structures, specifically their actuation and dynamics as well as rapid prototyping. In his free time he enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing disk golf.
