James McElreath is a Ph.D. student currently in his fifth year of graduate studies. He is involved in the field of astrodynamics, with current work focusing on guidance and navigation of hypersonic vehicles and estimation theory for space domain awareness applications. While performing his graduate studies, he has also worked with industry to aid in cis-lunar domain maneuver planning and orbital state estimation. James has also interned at NASA Ames as an undergraduate at Texas A&M and at the Aerospace Corporation in his third year of graduate studies. In his spare time, James enjoys a good trail to hike, a great place to camp, and the best rocks to climb.
